My name is Robert and I am perpetually in the pursuit of hoppiness. I am travelling the world and discovering Craft Beer wherever I go. Sometimes I do my research and go exactly where I mean to, other times I accidentally stumble upon a great find, and that’s ok too. Great beer can be found all over the globe, in practically every country, if you just know where to look. There are so many different places to go and enjoy a beer these days, from Bottle Shops to Taprooms and Beer Bars, from Breweries to Gastropubs and Brewpubs. I’m trying to help inform you as to what you can expect when you’re hunting down that next Craft Beer fix. Which are the good options, where can I find a great beer? I’ve found that almost everybody has an opinion on beer and those opinions seemingly become more complicated when it comes to Craft Beer. This isn’t a blog about what I think about the beer, I’m not going to rate the beers I’ve had for you, that doesn’t make sense to me when you probably don’t share my palette, nor I yours. Plus, there really are enough of those blogs out there already. My aim is to help you find great Craft Beer on your travels by showing you the ones I have found on mine. No matter which countries I go to I’m always on the look out for a fun venue, for the next place I want to sit down and read the taplist. What makes it different, inviting, does it make me want to stay for another and possibly most importantly, do they have exciting and interesting Craft Beer? I am a huge fan of Craft Beer myself, it’s not the main reason I visit the countries I do but it sure does make an intriguing side adventure once I’m there. Discovering what bars and breweries are like across the world, what makes them different, what makes them similar and why we enjoy them. I do sometimes get a little side tracked along the way I must admit, on the odd occasion I write about some of the cool people I meet along the way, the breweries they represent, the awesome beers they brew and what makes them special.
